Warmer weather is on the horizon in Charlotte, and a local organization is in the later stages of organizing a co-ed softball tournament to kick off the season.
The Spring Softball Blind Draw Tourney 2026 has announced an official date for this March, providing a fun setting for the Queen City’s slow-pitch players to lace up their cleats and get back in the swing of things. The teams will be created using a blind draw system, with the organizers drawing the names of registered players from a hat.
The tournament is aiming to provide a fun and competitive setting where players can shake off the winter rust and make new friendships with other players. All interested parties must register as individual players. The tournament will be co-ed and open to women who wish to play. Banner printing is a bold way for local businesses to generate impressions at such tournaments, with Banners providing a colorful complement to the outfield fences.
The format will create four to six teams with between 11 and 13 players. Each team will play at least three games, with the top team in each pool advancing to the finals. Winners will receive commemorative T-Shirts.
The tournament will be held at Park Road Park in Charlotte on Saturday, March 1st, starting at 1:00 PM. Registration costs $37.45 per player online.
