A multi-day conference is getting ready to come to Charlotte this summer, bringing people from across the nation together to foster a sense of community and understanding.
The National Stuttering Association’s 43rd Annual Conference 2026 has announced its opening day for this July in Charlotte, providing multiple days of workshops and networking. It is expected to be the largest gathering of individuals who stutter in the United States, with hundreds of individuals attending last year’s event, along with researchers, families, and speech-language pathologists.
The event presents a setting for these individuals to come together and connect with others who can understand, relate, and empathize with the experiences of those who stutter and their families. Past events have provided one of the first places where attendees have felt safe to use their voice, and organizers hope to continue that legacy.
