Charlotte Hornets announce youth basketball camp

Youth basketball players in Charlotte will have an opportunity to learn from the game’s best this summer when the Charlotte Hornets plan to hold a skills camp.

The Hornets Hoops Player Camp: Myers Park Presbyterian Outreach has announced the official date and opened online registration, giving parents the chance to get their children signed up for a memorable learning opportunity. The camp will be held across five days and is designed for children between 7 and 14 years of age.

Athletes who attend will participate in co-ed skills and breakdown stations that are led and guided by experienced players and coaches. Instructional lectures will also be held, giving athletes in attendance a higher understanding of the game. Promoters can reap the benefits of cost-effective marketing approaches like flyer printing to spread the word of camps like this to parents in the community.

Competitive games will also be organized, including 5-on-5, 3-on-3, and 1-on-1 matchups to work on different skills and teamwork. Individual and team awards will be handed out at the end of the 5-day camp. All participants will also receive a Hornets swag bag that contains a Gatorade bottle, Hornets basketball jersey, and two ticket vouchers.

The camp will start at the Myers Park Presbyterian Outreach Center in Charlotte on Monday, June 15th, at 9:00 AM. Interested parties can join the online waitlist to sign up.
