Charlotte locals can usher in Independence Day with the Firecracker 5K and Fun Run.
The 5K will begin at Olde Providence Elementary and end at the Windyrush Country Club pool area. Meanwhile, the family fun run is a half-mile loop that begins at the country club.
During the race, there will be childcare available from 6:00pm until 8:00pm for children who are at least two. Prices are $10 for the first child and $6 for each additional child.
After the athletics, there will be a pool party, music, and refreshments. Awards will also be handed out to the top three male and female finishers overall, and also in each age group. A Stationery printing service was probably asked to create the awards.
From June 19th until July 2nd, registration for the event costs $30 for the 5K and $15 for the family fun run. On race day, the longer contest will cost $35 to enter.
Packet pickup will take place on July 2nd from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at the Charlotte Running Company Promenade, which is located on 5355 Ballantyne Commons Parkway in Suite 300.
Race day registration takes place on July 3rd from 4:30pm until 6:30pm. The 5K run is scheduled to start at 7:00pm and the fun run begins at 7:45pm. Olde Providence Elementary is located on 3800 Rea Road.Get a Free Quote for Stationery
