Charlotte prepares to meet ghosts of Christmas Past

A unique experience is coming up in the Queen City this December, combining elements of local folklore, candlelit concerts, and the works of Charles Dickens.

Ghosts of Christmas Past is coming up on the calendar in Charlotte, and residents with a passion for the supernatural will want to reserve their spots. The event, which is being organized with help from 7th Street Concerts, is set to be an evening of ghost stories shared in a candlelit setting and supported by backing music that begins at sunset.

Organizers have drawn inspiration from Charles Dickens’ work, A Christmas Carol, as well as from North Carolina folklore and ghost stories dating back to the 1700 and 1800s. Voice actors will add to the ambiance by using their talents to conduct theatrical readings. The impressions made with poster printing can lead to higher attendance numbers and growing excitement in the community ahead of events like this.

Complimentary wine and light bites are included with the experience, and guests can enjoy a stress-free visit by using the free parking. Attendees will also support a good cause, as ticket sales give back to underserved audiences and communities.

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Charlotte will host the Christmas event, which runs from 5:00 to 6:30pm on Saturday, December 5th. Tickets are available online, starting at $30.87 per person.
