An eco-friendly fashion show is in the works for Charlotte this September, providing a platform for some of the top upcycled fashion designers in the area.
The 6th Annual ArtPop Upcycled Fashion Show and Community Arts Fundraiser, which is being sponsored by Wells Fargo, will open its doors to collectors and fashion enthusiasts who want to see the latest creations from 15 talented designers from around the Charlotte area. It is ArtPop’s premier event, and is meant to showcase the ability to combine high fashion with sustainability and art.
In addition to the 15 designers, over 400 distinguished guests will join the fun and be in attendance at the show. The show will be a celebration of creativity where billboard vinyls are turned into wearable art pieces. Poster printing is a proven and effective way to promote upcoming events like this in a large market, with impressions sharing the date, time, and location.
Virgil Ortiz will be the fashion show’s VIP Guest Designer, joining local designers like Darrell Anderson, Itala Flores, Brehon Williams, and Gia Ross. Attendees will enjoy a unique evening of fashion, with the proceeds from ticket sales benefitting a good cause.
Blume Studios, located at 904 Post Street in downtown Charlotte, will host the fashion show. It’s scheduled for Saturday, September 12th, running from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Tickets are available online for $161.90 per guest.
