A high school in Charlotte has announced the date for a popular annual fundraiser in town, bringing the finer things in life to attendees while supporting education initiatives.
The Six Years Aged Future Ready Fundraiser, which is returning for the 6th year thanks to the Friends of West Meck Advisory Board, will be coming back to Charlotte this June in support of West Mecklenburg's Hospitality and Tourism Academy students. Attendees will help raise funds that allow these students to build connections and discover new opportunities in the hospitality and tourism industries.
Each dollar raised will support student stipends for paid internships, scholarships and industry certifications, recruitment, program expansion, and experiential learning opportunities in the city. Classy marketing options like poster printing can promote such events around the community, with the colorful Posters providing space for information about the event and imagery that builds excitement.
The evening will feature guided bourbon tastings for guests, along with chef-prepared small plates to please the palate. An exclusive cigar experience will also be available. A live DJ’s tunes will keep energy levels high, and a silent auction will be held to benefit the school’s student programming.
The Union at Station West in downtown Charlotte is the official host site, with the fundraiser starting at 5:00 PM on Saturday, June 6th. Interested parties can purchase tickets online for $135.23 per person.
