Quilters have everything covered in Charlotte

The Charlotte Quilters Guild will be marking its 40th year by hosting its ‘A Walk Down Memory Lane’ exhibition of 180 handmade quilts, which will be on display for the public to see and admire.

A curated event, it includes a section of work that has received the designation of ‘Best in Show’ in the previous years that the competition has been held.

Along with the quilts, there will be a vendor section, where attendees can browse through the offerings of local sewing and craft shops and other service providers. People can also purchase raffle tickets for a selection of gift baskets and other items, and Featherweight Poppy has donated a sewing machine to be used as a prize. The organizers of an event such as this can use the services of a poster printing company to create attractive Posters and other promotional items to market a show like this throughout the area.

Admission to the event, which has been planned for March 10 in the Union County Agricultural Center in Monroe, has been set at $5 each. There will be no fee charged for parking.

Anyone who would like to learn additional details about the show, or learn more about the Guild and its programs, can do so by visiting the Charlotte's Got a Lot website for more information.
