Charlotte gardeners are invite to come to a sale that will let them get some new plants for their home and landscape, while supporting a local garden and wildlife habitat.
Wing Haven Gardens will be hosting the event where the public can purchase shrubs, trees, perennials and other plants. Expert volunteers will also be on hand to answer questions and assist in selection.
This year, along with the plants being sold, there will be an assortment of “garden art” for sale. This includes iron pieces created by Amy Hart, special container plantings by Brian Caldwell , ceramic birdhouses by Jodi McNeely and paintings created by Lois Simon.
The event will run from April 6th until April 9th at 248 Ridgewood Avenue, with the first day being for members only. It will be open each day from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. Proceeds from the sale will be used to help fund the programs and outreach offered by Wing Haven Gardens, which include preserving habitat for songbirds and other wildlife. Printing services can be used to provide Banners and other signage for this type of event, as well as Brochures that give further details about the organizations that are hosting them.
Those who would like to find out further details about the spring plant sale or Wing Haven Gardens in general are invited to visit the organization’s website.
