A Charlotte venue that gives residents of the city a chance to interact with the natural world has issued an invitation to attend its Historic Holiday Open House.
Wing Haven will be decking the halls for this festive event, and while it will be free to attend the occasion, advance registration will be appreciated. Both of the venue’s historic houses will be open to the public. The function will carry on many of the traditions that were first started by Mrs. Clarkson, Wing Haven’s founder.
On the day of the activity, both the Elizabeth Lawrence and Eddie and Elizabeth Clarkson houses will be included in the celebration, and the SEED Wildlife and Children’s Garden will also be welcoming visitors. Light refreshments paired with hot cider will keep everyone toasty warm, and the kids in the crowd can be inspired to enjoy nature by viewing the naturally sourced decor, much of which may also serve as food and shelter for wildlife.
When planning seasonal celebrations, many in the event organizing industry choose to partner with local Print shops. They will be able to supply everything from Brochures to poster printing services.
Wing Haven will be welcoming guests of all ages at its Historic Holiday Open House on December 11. It will begin at 1:00 pm, and its website provides more details for those who are interested.
