Charlotte venue hosts plant swap series

A plant swap offers green thumbs and beginners alike a chance to score some new budget-friendly plants for their home, and a Charlotte venue has a series of the events in the works.

Hi-Wire Brewing has organized a schedule of monthly plant swaps, and they will each run for one hour. Everyone can purchase a drink to sip on while they mingle, chat, and trade, and all adults are welcome.

During the activity, attendees will be invited to exchange rooted cuttings, clippings, and seeds, and they can also share tips and advice. They may even be able to swap gardening tools and implements, and keep each other abreast of any local horticultural sales currently taking place. It will provide a chance to connect with other “plant parents,” and admission is free.

When preparing for an activity, it can be a wise move for the organizers to work with a local poster printing company, which can prepare materials that will make it a snap to build the buzz about an upcoming event.

The next of these monthly meetups for Charlotte's home horticulture enthusiasts will be held on July 26, and they will take place on the last Wednesday of the month until next March. Hi-Wire Brewing can be found at 340 West Tremont Avenue, and advance tickets are not required to participate.
