Summer is fast approaching, and Charlotte kids who register for a horticulturally themed camp will be able to spend some of their vacation making discoveries about the living world.
The hands-on World of Plants summer camp will be filled with experiences designed to spark a scientific interest among the kids who take part. The activities on the agenda will be age appropriate for the campers in the group, and only a limited number of seats are available.
The group will be invited to explore by using different experiments, and these will be paired with art activities so that everyone can have fun while they learn and meet new friends.
The agenda will have new additions from last year so that it will be fresh for those who will be returning, and each camper will receive a T-shirt printed with a Twigs and Figs camp graphic design.
The registration fee for each weekend on the schedule is $300, and kids can be registered for one or both weekends. Each day will run from 9:00 am until 12:00 noon.
The team at Twigs and Figs will be giving kids a summer of learning from June 19 to June 23, and July 17 to July 21. Its website offers a link for families to learn more about the camps and sign up their child.
