Charlotte rocks out on the cat walk

This weekend, fashion mavens can see some of the best back to school styles. The ‘2014 Kids Rock Back to School Fashion Showcase’ will allow children to shine while supporting a good cause.

The fashion show will feature business and urban styles. By focusing on youth, the show hopes to be a confidence builder for young individuals. Another highlight will be the live music from London Young. Vendors will be selling items like food, art, and handmade goods.

Along with the fashion show, there will also be a school supply drive. By championing education and providing the community with academic resources, the event organizers hope to help local children who are less fortunate. During the supply drive, items such as book Bags will be collected and then distributed to families in need.

In order to put on the fashion showcase, the ‘Caring Heroes Foundation’ and ‘Youth Educational Society’ collaborated with fashion organizations. It is likely that the event organizers used a local Print company in Charlotte to help them with their promotional materials. Flyers and Brochures are two items that can easily be distributed.

General admission is $10 per person, with VIP reserved seating costing $20. Tickets can be purchased on Event Brite. Parking is free.

It all takes place tomorrow, August 2, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at The Venue, located at 1801 North Tryon Street.
