A question has been posed to the city about who makes the best pizza in Uptown Charlotte, and its chefs have risen to the occasion to provide an answer.
During Charlotte’s Pizza Wars, the public will have an opportunity to sample the offerings from an assortment of local pizzerias, and vote for their favorites. Both the Most Unique Pizza and Best Pizza titles will be available for the taking, and for those who really love a slice, a pizza eating contest has also been included in the agenda for the evening.
The festivities will take place outdoors, and those who come out will be able to relax and enjoy fun with friends while they take in a musical performance and sample what the city’s eateries have to offer. The tickets for the occasion include entry into the function, samples of pizza and beer pairings, and more. As alcohol will be served, it is open only to those age 21 and over.
The organizers are also accepting applications from any vendors that may be interested in participating in the festivities or entering a pizza in the competition. Banners and other printed decorations for an event like this can be sourced from a local Print company.
This battle for pizza bragging rights will take place on August 26th at Rooftop 210. More information has been added to the host’s website.
