This June, Charlotte’s pooches will be showing their pride when they participate in a parade planned for the city.
The Pride Paw-Rade will welcome all pets and promises to be a fun experience for people and their companion animals alike. The process will fund a variety of projects administered by Time Out Youth, and anyone who is interested is welcome.
The release for the day explained that the function will boast pride-themed decor, and the participant will be able to take photos in front of the themed backdrop. Dogs will receive rainbow bandanas, and a special ‘Pride Punch’ will be sold on site, with $1 from each sale going to the function’s charity of choice. A pop-up market is on the agenda as well, and prizes will be awarded to the “Most Prideful Pup” costume.
Event organizers looking for custom-designed decor will be able to request banner printing and other services from a local printer. These professionals will have the technology and experience needed to create high-quality items, and many of what they have on offer may be quite economically priced.
The Pride Paw-Rade will see Charlotte’s pets strut their stuff on June 18. It will be taking place at 222 Rampart Street, and its Skiptown website includes the most current details.
