This July, families from Charlotte are invited to cool off with an ice cold drink while they enjoy an evening of activities.
This event, which will be held at NoDa Brewing Company, will act as a fundraiser, and kids in the area’s foster care system will be the beneficiaries of the function.
Foster Village Charlotte is celebrating its first anniversary in the community, and it has planned a party to mark the occasion. The monies raised will be utilized in the organization’s Welcome Pack program, which helps to make sure that all the children in the foster care system have the items they need and also supports foster and other families.
When they arrive at the event, guests will be able to purchase an ice cold drink, and one dollar from each beverage purchased will be donated to Foster Village Charlotte. A reverse auction, face painting, demonstrations by Soccer Shots, treats from Rita’s Italian Ice, and a group art project have also been planned, and birthday cake will be served as well.
An event like this often depends upon the support of the local business community. Stationery printers can prepare certificates that can be presented to each of the sponsors to thank them for their decision to help contribute to its success.
The first ever Foster Village Charlotte birthday party has been planned for July 29. Admission is free to the public.
