Charlotte fans of Jane Austin who would like to learn more about the author and the time in which she lived and wrote are invited to an event that will bring them together with others who share their interest.
The Mint Museum Randolph will be hosting its Pride and Prejudice Tour. Guests will have an opportunity to discus the book and its historical context, which will be followed by a tour of the museum. Docents will lead the group through the different displays, including the Portals to the Past: British Ceramics exhibition. They will also have a chance to see art and other items that will give participants a greater understanding of the times and cultural influences from when the book was first authored. A printer’s Mailing services can be used to let current museum members, and the general public as well, know about a special event such as this so they can make plans to attend.
The activity will take place at the Mint Museum Randolph, which is located at 2730 Randolph Road in Charlotte. It will run from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm on January 11th, and while there is no charge to participate, registration is required by those who are interested in taking part.
More information about the evening’s activities and an opportunity to register to take part can be found on the museum’s website.
