Charlotte golfers who have been looking for an excuse to spend some time out on the links will be able to do so this spring while they help raise money for a local community service organization.
The YMCA will be kicking off its annual fundraising campaign with its annual Golfing for Good tournament, and everyone who would like to get together with friends for a day of fun in the outdoors is encouraged to register. There are an assortment of registration options, and the function will take place at Carolina Golf Club.
Each plate run the tournament will receive the use of a cart as well as 18 holes of golf. The green fees are also included, and meals and snacks will also be supplied. The run time for the activity is 10 hours, and registration for the day will open early in the morning.
To thank the players for coming out for the day, each will go home with a special token of appreciation crafted just for the occasion. Corporate Gifts for an activity will be available at a local Print company, which can include a customized graphic design in the items it prepares.
This fundraiser for the YMCA of Greater Charlotte will tee off on April 24. Those who register to play are welcome to arrive as of 8:00 am.
