September will see local golfers take to the greens at Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation in support of the Charlotte Marine Corps League and its charities of choice.
The planner of the outing explained that, while they hope it will be fun for the players, it will also have a higher purpose. At least five different charities will benefit from the proceeds, 100% of which, less the cost to put on the event, will be donated to these groups.
The day will open in the morning with registration, and the putting green and driving range will be open so the attendees can get in some practice. After lunch is served, there will be some opening remarks, and the players will hit the links. The plan will follow as scramble format and Captains Choice, and the day will wrap up with dinner, prize draws and an auction. Questions can be directed to Skip Helle at 980-255-2464.
Swag is often distributed during a fundraising event, and Print shops will have many to choose from. These range from small items like promotional Pens and lanyards all the way up to clothing, gift ware, and other large items.
The Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation will be welcoming this fundraiser on September 13. The check-in desk will be open to those who register as of 10:00 am.
