A walk, run, and rally will bring the community together to join the fight against lung cancer, and the day promises to be a whole lot of fun for a worthy cause.
The registrants in this fundraiser will be able to choose from both timed and untimed races, and the survivor’s victory lap will both salute cancer warriors while also paying tribute to those who lost their fight. Kids can also participate in a dash planned with them in mind, and the staging area for the day can be found in McAlpine Park.
As well as the physically active portion of the day, the group of participants can enjoy themselves at the rally, which will be filled with lots of activities. They can show their support for those battling lung cancer, and while they have fun, they can also learn more about the disease, what they can do to prevent it and also how they can help those living with cancer.
One of the most important pieces of this type of event can be to increase public awareness. Banners, Signs, Brochures, and other printed products can all prove useful tools for this, and Print shops are the places to get them.
The annual Charlotte LUNGe Forward 5k Walk, Run and Rally has been scheduled for March 28. Everyone is encouraged to join the fun.
