Those who love chocolate will be able to combine this with raising funds to fight breast cancer at an event that has been planned for Charlotte.
Chocolate for a Cure (CFAC) will be a gala event with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, wine, and, of course, chocolate. Along with the food and drinks, there will be music, information about breast cancer, and vendors with displays set up for browsing and buying.
Several speakers will be giving presentations throughout the evening, including a keynote presentation by a woman who has fought and beat breast cancer. Local dignitaries, including the city’s mayor, will be on hand, as well as an expert chocolatier with Carolina Chocolate Company.
A variety of giveaways will take place throughout the event, and gift Bags will be given to all those who come out. Printing companies will be able to work with the organizers of fundraisers such as this to create a variety of customized items that can be included in these “swag bags”.
The 6th Annual Chocolate for a Cure has been scheduled to take place at the Le Míridien Charlotte on October 1 from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Tickets are $55.00 each, and donations from those who want to help but are not able to attend are also gratefully accepted.
