A literacy building event is right around the corner for Charlotte, and it will give families a chance to enjoy some extra holiday-themed fun.
An activity coming up at Mint Museum Uptown at Levine Center for the Arts will feature stories penned by M J Miles, and three will be read. This will be paired with some hands-on projects, and everyone is encouraged to wear an ugly holiday sweater.
As well as the reading, attendees will be offered a chance to spend some time at the hot chocolate and cookie bar, and there will be games for them to play as well. Everyone can make their own gingerbread house, and while they do, they can meet and get to know the other participants. Santa will be on hand, and an author meet and greet is also on the agenda for kids and adults alike.
In-person readings give an author an opportunity to connect with, and build, their fan base. A poster printing company will have various ways to promote an activity, with options available at price points to fit almost any budget.
Holiday Book Palooza will be getting the holiday season off to a fun and festive start on November 6. This family-friendly celebration will begin at 11:00 am, and anyone who wants to order tickets can do so now.
