The winter holiday season will be a little bit brighter for Charlotte area kids thanks to a local initiative.
The public’s help is being sought for an activity that will ensure every area family has a happy holiday season, and there will be several ways for them to lend a hand. The monies raised will be distributed by Project HOPE, and there is room for up to 30 vendors to join in the festivities.
The organizers have put together a schedule for the day that includes a visit from Santa, and everyone will be able to build a gingerbread house and warm up at the hot chocolate bar. Locally crafted food and their treats will be on offer, and several local small businesses will have a booth or other display set up as well. An assortment of not for profit groups will benefit from this celebration, including the Union County Christmas Bureau.
The planners of the day are hoping that the public will be happy to volunteer during the event, as there will be a variety of tasks such as stuffing stockings, collecting donations and decorating that will need to be done. Many organizers of charitable events choose to order Promotional Products to give to their helping hands to thank them for their support.
The Project HOPE Christmas festivities are set to take place on December 12th. The fun will be held at 6308 Secrest Short Cut Road in Indian Trail.
