Mid-May will see the return of Mother's Day, and a local brewery will be raising a glass in a salute for these hardworking women.
Primal Brewery Belmont will be saying “cheers” to mom by hosting its Mother's Day party. Its agenda offers several activities for the public to enjoy, and it will run for five hours.
The plans for the afternoon kick off with a pop-up market where the moms in the crowd can engage in some retail therapy while supporting local small businesses. The mothers will also be served free brownies freshly baked in house for as long as supplies last, and live music will provide a festive background to the occasion. The vendor area will be set up by Makers Market CLT, and the planners are hoping for a great turnout.
When planning their schedule for the upcoming year, many makers and other small business include pop-up markets in their agenda.
