A golf course will be hosting a charity event in honor of a fallen community member.
The tournament pays tribute to Sukari Bowman who lost her life to cancer. The event bears her name and has the goal of gathering money and support for cancer research, patient wellness, and providing related services like Bowman did when she was alive.
The day starts with a golf tournament at Bogey Hills Country Club. People can have fun in a friendly game, participating in contests like the longest drive, closest to the hole, and hole-in-one challenges. Printing services could be used to promote brands during such an event; sponsorship money can bring in much-needed funds.
A dinner has been arranged for after the tournament so that people get together and socialize. Different local businesses, volunteers, and sponsors play important roles in making this event successful by giving sponsorships and donations as well as their time through volunteering.
The silent auction in the evening is a big part of the event. Attendees will get the chance to bid on many different things like sports items, trips to local art pieces, and gourmet meals. The auction plays an important role in this fundraising initiative and has gathered substantial funds at past events and subsequently changed people's lives.
The Suke Strong Golf Tournament, Dinner, and Silent Auction is set for September 28th at the Bogey Hills Country Club in St. Charles.
