St. Charles to host annual charity event for those in need

St. Charles will be carrying on a tradition that has been held for the past 17 years. Helping Hands for the Holidays is intended to provide a means by which residents in need can enjoy the holiday season.

The 18th Annual Helping Hands for the Holidays has been organized by the St. Charles Convention Center, and is open to all who require community-based assistance. Guests can enjoy access to a host of services, and this year’s event is expected to draw a large crowd.

Many of the items found here have been donated by St. Charles residents, and those looking to contribute should contact a representative from the St. Charles Convention Center. Clothes, canned goods, and toys are all welcomed.

Those who take advantage of this tradition can enjoy hot food, rummage through clothing items, and use this opportunity to connect with officials providing additional levels of support.

Charitable events will often choose the most economical methods to advertise what the public can expect. Organizers may partner with local print shops to produce flyers and informational brochures, and distribute them around the community.

Helping Hands for the Holidays will be returning on Wednesday, December 17, and doors will remain open throughout the day. There is no charge to attend, and tickets are not necessary. All activities are being hosted by the St. Charles Convention Center located at One Convention Center Plaza.
