The 24th Annual Mosaic Fine Art Festival will be coming mid-September. The three-day event will feature over ninety juried selected artists with several countries and more than sixteen states being represented.
The festival will have art in sixteen different mediums. These mediums range from photography, woodworking, jewelry, fiber art, painting, to drawing, glass, metal, ceramics and sculpture. Matt Jones, Jenny Johannsen and Tanya Doskova will be bringing their mixed media work. Attendees may want to see if their favorite artists have any Business Cards with them for later custom work.
The entertainment stage on North Main Street will feature live music. The Art for Youth Gallery will have professionally created art work available for children under the age of 15 to purchase for a small fee, and the Children’s Village will have a hands-on art experience that everyone can enjoy.
The Mentor Me exhibit will feature work by area students and teachers. Community art programs will be showcasing their patrons’ works and accomplishments.
The Mosaic Fine Art Festival will be Friday, September 14th from 4 pm until 9, Saturday, September 15th from 11 am until 9 pm and Sunday, September from 11 am until 5 pm. The festival will be along St. Charles Historic Main Street. Artist booths will be located from Adams Street to First Capitol Drive. Admission will be free.
