St. Charles event celebrates women veterans

The Mid-West Women Veterans Association (MWWVA), a non-profit 501(c) organization, is organizing an event to support women veterans.

The organization's mission is to streamline information and promote professional and personal growth among women veterans. Every year, it offers a free event exclusively for female veterans. This event provides a valuable opportunity for learning and reconnecting with the pride in their service that may have been lost as they transitioned into different roles in society.

The MWWVA invites all women veterans to its annual event centered around this year's theme of "Be Your Unique Self." The special guest speaker, Jennifer Foxworthy, is a leadership development speaker and author who delivers her message through real talk and humor. Her intentional and captivating style is designed to make the audience feel uplifted and empowered to improve their lives. In addition to the guest speaker, there will be vendors, raffles, prizes, and fun for all attendees. Printing services can be used to produce tickets for events like this.

Guests are requested to RSVP in advance to secure catering meals during the two-day event. The organization has reserved rooms at the Drury Inn in St. Charles for traveling guests to stay. The rate is $189, plus tax, and includes breakfast.

The organization primarily focuses on empowering women, but it welcomes individuals of all genders. It is an inclusive organization and invites everyone to join in supporting the cause. The event is scheduled for Friday, April 14 at the Drury Plaza Hotel in St. Charles.
