St. Charles County Councilman Joe Brazil said he would propose a budget adjustment of $60,000 at the council meeting to establish a part-time mounted section. An official document is likely to have a letterhead on it.
Brazil commented to say:
“In my view, the mounted patrol would be totally cool for a county of our size, and with the amount of parks we have, the different fairs and parades and stuff, to have a mounted patrol unit.”
Brazil believes that the initiative ought to be tested at the very least.
