Riverfest comes to St. Charles

St. Charles will celebrate Independence Day with Riverfest next month. Guests can expect three days of music, food, and festivities.

Organizers have readied a host of activities and entertainment for this year’s Riverfest. Live bands will provide music throughout the three days with names like SuperJam, Big Love, and Rogers & Nienhaus, all lending their musical talents. A parade is planned for the second day, and it will march through the venue in the morning. Fun activities like the “Children’s Tent” and carnivals can also serve as excellent entertainment for younger guests. The festival will cap off with fireworks by the riverside on the last day.

To accommodate the expected number of attendees, organizers have prepared plenty of parking for the event. Parking will be available on Main, Second, Water, and North Main Streets. The Lewis & Clarke Boat House, City Hall, and Foundry Art Centre will also open their parking lots for the event.

The festival will happen from July 2nd to July 4th. Each day will run from noon until 10:00 PM except the first day, which starts at 5:00 PM.

For specific times on performances and other activities, organizers have prepared more information with the help of flyer printing. The festival will take place at Riverside Drive on 222 S Riverside Drive. Anyone with more questions can call 636-946-776.
