Food, art, and craft event being planned for August

Festival of the Little Hills, or Fete Des Petite Cotes as it was originally called, is still in the planning stages and will be coming to St. Charles toward the end of August.

Over 300 crafts and art vendors including antique dealers will be onsite selling their one-of-a-kind items. Some of the crafters will be giving demonstrations of their skills. More than 50 non-profits will be selling food. For many of these organizations, this will be their major fundraiser for the year.

Entertainment will be on the Main Stage and at the Moolah Shriners Beer Tent. Friday will see Borderline and The LustreLights perform on the Main Stage. Saturday’s performers will be the St. Charles Municipal Band, Connor Low Jazz Trio, The Lone Rangers, Superjam, and Dr. Zhivegas. Catfish Willie, Mad Beats, and the St. Charles Municipal Jazz Band will take to the stage on Sunday. All performances in the Moolah Shriners Beer Tents will be announced later.

A Kids’ Corner will have activities and games for the little ones. In order to keep track of their little ones, many families often dress their children in colorful matching tee-shirts sporting their family Logo Design.

The Festival of the Little Hills will be Friday, August 21 from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm; Saturday, August 22nd from 9:30 am until 10:00 pm; and Sunday August 23rd from 9:30 am until 5:00 pm. EPC, St. Charles West, Duchesne, and CubSmart shuttles will be available.
