Different organizations use custom awards
St. Charles was set up in 1769 by Louis Blanchette who was a French-Canadian fur trader and is ranked as Missouri's third oldest city. It played a significant part in America's westward expansion story because the Lewis and Clark Expedition back in 1804 started from this part of Missouri. One special event to note is the Festival of the Little Hills held every year, which is an extensive craft fair. Another event that happens here is Christmas Traditions that last for a month where people can enjoy parades, performances as well as historical re-enactments of the Christmas past.
