The Oak Ridge Boys, a foursome country music group, is set to play in St. Charles in a few weeks.
The group has been popular since the early 1980s, when their song “Elvira” went double platinum. Since that time, the band has continued to play and is now in its fifth decade, earning Grammys and performing new albums, including covers of modern rock songs.
Taking place at the Lindenwood J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts, concertgoers can expect to hear a few classics and the latest songs off of the Oak Ridge Boys newest album, Front Porch Singing.
Tickets run from $15 to $65, depending on the kind of seating attendees are interested in purchasing. The Lindenwood J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts is located at 2300 West Clay in Saint Charles. Tickets can be purchased online from the box office.
The theater promises attendees a robust response to COVID-19. This includes regular sanitizing, infrared monitors to check temperature, and air filters. Masks are required during shows. The theater has updated their COVID-19 policies in the past, but plans on alerting ticketholders of any changes through a communication plan including e-mails, Signs (perhaps provided by local Print shops), and letting anyone who buys tickets in person know about the venue’s latest COVID mitigation strategies.
The performance will be on February 5, starting at 8:00 pm.
