St. Louis to organize mystery-themed summer camp
The Novel Neighbor will be holding a summer camp for children in St. Louis who enjoy solving mysteries as detectives.
Detectives and Sleuths of All Sorts is a program where kids can work together to solve a grand mystery at The Novel Neighbor. The activity is led by Molly Lodes and is intended for children aged 6 to 12. During the summer camp, participants will be taught several strategies used by detectives to help them solve the case. All campers must bring their own lunches to the program. Those who organize themed camps similar to this may use print shops to make advertisements for their events.
Lodes has been a resident teacher at St. Louis Teacher Residency since August 2021. She has experience as a senior marketing coordinator for Shared Health Alliance and a marketing and events coordinator at the SSM Health Foundation. Lodes even attended the University of Arkansas and served on the campus' Resident Assistant Council and Resident's Inter-Hall Congress. She has also volunteered for the Diversity Impact Host organization.
The detective-themed summer program will be held from Monday, August 1 to Friday, August 5. Each session of the camp will last from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Tickets for the sleuthing experience will cost children $250 each. Families can also pay extra to contribute to camper scholarships for those unable to afford the program.
