St. Louis museum to organize blues concert

The National Blues Museum in St. Louis will be holding a concert in September that features two talented performers.

Winding Down to the Blues is a program that is part of the National Blues Museum’s Fall Concerts 2023 collection. The show will include performances by Carolyn Mason and Uvee Hayes. Mason is a regular performer at the museum who has been living in the city since 2004. She started singing in a group as a child and performed R&B music with her uncle’s band. Hayes is a singer who has created several original songs, including Get Your Dance On and Howling for My Darling.

The National Blues Museum is an attraction that celebrates the genre and uses technology-driven experiences to educate visitors about the blues. The museum holds many concerts throughout the year in the Legends Room, and the public can book the building for private events. People interested in becoming a member of the National Blues Museum can pay $75 per adult. There are also higher membership tiers that include guest passes to the museum.

The blues concert will be held on Sunday, September 24th at 1:00 pm. Doors to the show will open at 12:30 pm. The tickets are $25 per person, which also includes the price of a parking voucher for the museum’s nearby parking garage. Local attractions that coordinate concerts like this may use brochure printing to make programs that visitors can receive at the events.
