St. Louis event to fight against hunger
Operation Food Search will hold a fundraising event in September at Palladium St. Louis.
Feast for Change is a program where people can enjoy a multi-course dinner that uses locally sourced ingredients. Guests will also get to browse a pop-up market and take part in a live auction. Companies can become sponsors of the feast by paying between $1,000 and $25,000. All sponsorship packages will include free tickets to the event, website recognition, and a shoutout on the organizer’s social media platforms. Every $200 raised by the organization can provide an individual with six months of food.
Operation Food Search is an organization that offers immediate food assistance to families. The group reduces hunger insecurity in the community by educating people about proper nutrition and creating programs like Operation Backpack. More than 200,000 individuals are assisted by the organization every month. People interested in helping Operation Food Search can volunteer at its food distribution centers and the St. Louis MetroMarket.
The benefit dinner will be held on September 9 from 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm. Individual tickets will cost guests $200 each, and a table of 10 can be booked for $2,000. Those who want to further support Operation Food Search can participate in one of its food drives or donate money to the organization. Groups that plan fundraising dinners like this may use flyer printing to advertise their gatherings.
