St. Louis transportation group to hold awards gala

A chapter of the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) organization will hold an event at SqWires Restaurant & Market in St. Louis.

The WTS St. Louis Scholarship and Awards Gala is a program where people can honor notable women in the transportation industry. Companies can help support the WTS by sponsoring the event. Packages for the awards gala range from $250 to $1,000. All sponsors for the program will have their symbols featured on its promotional materials. Beverage sponsors can pay $500 to showcase their logos at the venue’s bar.

The WTS is an organization that wishes to advance the transportation industry while helping women who want to pursue transportation careers. The organization was established in 1977 and created a series of luncheons and seminars that gave women access to helpful connections and educational opportunities. There are many types of memberships for this group, including students, emerging leaders, small businesses, and retired individuals.

The scholarship and awards gala will be on Thursday, April 3 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Members of the WTS may pay $50 to attend the program, and students can purchase tickets for $20. Non-members may also attend, though they must buy their tickets for $70. Similar industry-related organizations like this can use banner printing services to make advertisements and custom decorations for their galas.
