Social event puts twist on popular game
Ham Lake residents can enjoy a night of fun at a nearby game night in late April.
Feud After Dark is a combination of the show “Family Feud” and the popular genre of events that are team trivia and game nights. The host, Freddie Justice, brings his unique comedy and high energy to the atmosphere, making the experience fun even for those who don’t end up participating.
People can attend solo or in smaller groups, however, those that register for a half (four people) or full (eight people) reserved table will instantly be put on the list of potential competitors, with an opt out option available upon entry. Those who don’t can be added to the list at the event. If people attending as a group don’t pick one of the reserved table options, there isn’t a guarantee that everyone will be able to find seating next to each other.
A buffet will be provided thanks to Unique Dining Catering. Guests can enjoy their meal prior to the game’s starting time. Water is provided, and there is a bar for soda and other drinks that will take cash.
Prizes will also be awarded to winners during the gameplay.
Tickets are sold through EventBrite. The venue, Courtyards of Andover, is just a few miles outside of Ham Lake. Individual tickets are $53.92, half tables are $186.58, and full tables are $325.03. These values include fees and taxes. Flyer printing is a promotion technique many local events use for advertising. Dinner is from 6:00pm to 7:15pm, with gameplay following between 7:30pm and 11:00pm on April 25th.
