An early May event is being held in Ham Lake with a goal to raise funds for a group that protects residents.
Breakfast with the Firefighters is an event run by the Ham Lake Fire Department. The activity allows area residents to introduce themselves to the first responders and spend time with them in a relaxed and joyful setting. In addition to the meal, attendees will be able to enjoy a market full of unique goods, a 50/50 raffle for prizes, and a sale of various desserts.
The food available will include a number of staple breakfast items, leaving guests with plenty of options for their meal.
Families are welcome to experience the morning together. Children who are younger than the age of five are able to attend the event and eat a meal at no cost. Admission for children between the ages of five and twelve will cost $5. Everyone else has an entry fee of $10. This can be paid upon arrival to the fundraiser. The money raised will go back to the firefighters.
The event is being held at the Ham Lake Fire Station 1, which is on Central Avenue Northeast. Many community fundraising initiatives use flyer printing as a promotion technique prior to the event. The activity will be running between 8:00am and 12:00pm. The scheduled date for the event is May 3rd.
