Puzzle contest to challenge Ham Lake residents
Puzzle lovers in the Ham Lake area will want to save the date, as a puzzle contest will pit teams against each other to see who finishes first.
The Team Jigsaw Puzzle Contest, hosted by Sarah Does Puzzles, will bring jigsaw puzzle enthusiasts and other competitive individuals together next month to see which team can complete a 500-piece puzzle first. Winners at the contest will receive prizes for their skills and efforts, and interested parties can build a team of up to four people to work together.
In addition to prizes for the winners, the event will give out door prizes to attendees for their participation. Each team will get to keep their puzzle from the competition to commemorate their participation in the event. Promotional products are an excellent way to promote goodwill and could potentially gain new customers for event sponsors at such gatherings.
The contest will give each team the same puzzle, which will be presented in a bag. Participants will not be allowed to see the puzzle until after the timer starts. Judges will monitor progress and prevent cheating, and teams are welcome to stay and enjoy refreshing beverages after finishing their puzzles. Participants can eat and drink while competing.
Alloy Brewing Company in Coon Rapids will host the puzzle competition on Saturday, March 1, starting at 1:00 PM. Spots can be reserved online for $48.14 per team.
