The Willow Tree Winery in Ham Lake will organize a fundraising event in October for a local nonprofit organization.
The Elevate Hope House Family Fundraiser is an event where families can participate in kid-friendly activities while listening to a live performance by Presence Music. The pop band is from Duluth, Minnesota and has provided support to artists such as Stars Go Dim and Ben Fuller. The fundraiser will include a bean bag tournament, face painting, visits with princesses, and bouncy houses. Attendees can purchase refreshments from the on-site bake sale and food trucks.
Elevate Hope House is a nonprofit organization that was created to help young single mothers in need. The group opened in 2020 to offer assistance to families experiencing homelessness. The nonprofit works with Grace Marie’s Parteas to empower those using Elevate Hope House’s programs. Families in the program are from Anoka County and include mothers who are between 16 and 24 years old. The group also organizes annual conferences where women can encourage each other.
The winery’s fundraiser will be on Saturday, October 5th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Tickets for the event are $10 per adult and $5 per child. There is also a family deal for $30. People can support the fundraiser’s cause by participating in its silent auction. Wineries that organize community programs like this may depend on banner printing to ensure their fundraisers are seen by more people.
