Ham Lake library to give true crime presentation

The Anoka County Library in Ham Lake will organize a viewing session for a presentation made by the Anoka County Historical Society.

An Un-Wise Murder is an event where guests can learn about an actual cold case that took place in Anoka County in 1900. The show is a true crime drama that was edited and produced by the Anoka County Historical Society. After the program, guests can speculate how the story could have ended if modern technology existed in 1900. The event will be held at the Vocate Gathering Room, a space for community events that is located next to the library.

The Anoka County Historical Society is an organization that was founded in 1934 and was initially stationed in Colonial Hall. The foundation's mission is to gather and preserve history so future generations may enjoy and learn from the artifacts. The organization created several galleries on subjects like Anoka Halloween Beer Cans and Anoka Halloween Medallions. People can become members of the historical society by paying between $13 and $25.

The true crime presentation will be held on Friday, January 24th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The audience for this show will be for adults only. There is limited seating at the Vocate Gathering Room, so guests are required to sign up for the event. Historical groups that help create lectures like this may use flyer printing to share details about their presentations.
