A local firefighter association will be debuting a new golf tournament in Ham Lake in June to help pay for new equipment.
Putting for a Pulse is a charitable golf tourney where people can enjoy a friendly golfing competition at the Majestic Oaks Golf Club. There will be 18 tournament holes, two groups per hole, and four golfers per group. The experience will start with a group lunch at the venue’s clubhouse grill, and an awards dinner will be held after the competition. Guests can win prizes at the dinner. The funds earned from the tourney will pay for a LUCAS 3 Chest Compression System.
The organizer for the event is the Spring Lake Park Firefighter Relief Association, which is an organization that aims to provide retirement relief and other benefits to local firefighters. The principal officer of the group is Dan Anderson, and the association is based out of Minneapolis. Companies interested in supporting Putting for a Pulse can become a sponsor for the event. There are several levels of sponsorships that range from $250 to $7,500.
The charity golf event will take place on Saturday, June 10 and will begin at 11:00 am. The awards dinner will be at 6:00 pm. People can pay $400 to register a foursome for the competition. Associations in charge of activities like this can promote their event and sponsors to the public with banner printing services.
