Ham Lake garden center to create holiday dcor

Those interested in creating natural holiday decorations can attend a course offered at the Mickman Brothers Garden & Landscape Center in Ham Lake.

This season, the Mickman Brothers will be holding on-site workshops where people can create personal spruce tip pot decorations. The class will allow guests to customize their containers and choose the color of berries in the design. Other materials included in the course fee are winter greens, pinecones, and soil. The business will also give attendees discounts on any additional embellishments customers wish to buy for their pots during the class.

Each workshop offered at the garden center will abide by some important regulations to keep guests safe during the experience. Participants will be spaced apart to maintain appropriate social distancing, and masks will be required to stay on at all times. The tools used during the activity will be disinfected after each use. Companies like this that want to enforce safety guidelines can use Print shops to make custom Signs to remind guests about rules.

The spruce tip pot workshop will be held throughout the season until December 18. The cost to join the class will be $40 per person. The activity will be held from 10:00 am to noon, and from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm every Tuesday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday courses will last from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm instead.
