Ascension Fitness Training in Ham Lake will be hosting a certification workshop in September taught by the National Exercise Trainers Association (NETA).
The Yoga Foundations Specialty Certification workshop is a two-day course for aspiring yoga instructors. The class covers several topics, such as the history of yoga, class formatting basics, and how to motivate students. Participants will also receive an in-depth breakdown of 20 yoga poses. Attendees will get to practice what they learn under the supervision of an experienced yoga instructor. Businesses offering workshops similar to this can advertise their lessons with poster printing.
NETA is a non-profit group providing accessible career instruction to those interested in the health and fitness industry. The organization is part of the Coalition for the Registration of Exercise Professionals and offers certifications for disciplines like personal training, indoor cycling, and senior fitness. The group is also one of three organizations in the United States accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies.
The workshop will take place on September 11 and September 12 from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Each student must pay $349 to participate in the course. The class is available as a stand-alone certification or can be taken as part of NETA’s 200 Hour Yoga Program. Those interested in NETA’s upcoming workshops can see a schedule of its future events on its website.
