A car show fundraiser for a local automotive program will be held at Anoka County Farms in Ham Lake in September.
The Scott R. Bromley Memorial Pumpkin Classic Car Show & Fall Festival is an annual event where attendees can view interesting vehicles while supporting local high school students. The money from the car show will support the Anoka-Hennepin Secondary Technical Education Program's (STEP) automotive program. Theron Busse is the program's lead instructor. He has several areas of expertise, such as electrical systems and engine diagnostics.
The fall fest will also feature many activities aside from the car show. Visitors can enjoy family-friendly attractions like Scotty's Super Slide and the Pumpkin Express Barrel Train. Children may play on the bounce house, inflatable slide, and Snoopy's Corn Pit. Admission to the festival is free, though tickets must be purchased for the attractions. The cost of the tickets ranges from $2 to $5. Families can also paint mini pumpkins for $5 per person at the fest.
The classic car show will be held on Friday, September 20 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Those who want to register their automobiles can pay $10, and spectators do not need to pay to spectate the event. All classes of cars may be entered into the show. Farms that host similar fundraisers to this may use banner printing to help market their seasonal activities.
