The Cold Steel Cruisers will organize a Ham Lake car show in May at Route 65 Sales and Classics.
The Generation Gap Car Show is a family-friendly event where people can showcase their vehicles to the community. The competition is open to all years and makes, and the top 15 entries will receive a trophy at the event. There will also be competitive activities such as a Header Rapping Contest and Burnout Competition. Children can partake in a coloring contest. Attendees can get food from the onsite food trucks.
Route 65 Sales and Classics is a company that has been owned by Jason Schreder since 2018. The business sells cars, trucks, and sports utility vehicles (SUVs), and it hosts many events at its large parking lot. Car clubs can book the company as a venue for their activities. Route 65 Sales and Classics also hosts an open house each month that features free donuts and occasional guest speakers.
The event will be held on Saturday, May 4 and will begin at 9:00 am. Trophies will be given out to competitors at 3:00 pm, and all winners need to be present at the car show to claim their awards. Those who want to participate may pay $10 to enter their vehicles. There is no cost for guests to check out the show. Car dealerships that host similar events to this may use banner printing to advertise their vehicle shows to motorists.
