Freedom-themed festival to return to Ham Lake

Ham Lake will host a community activity in June where people can celebrate freedom at Lions Park.

The 2024 Freedom Festival is an event organized by the Ham Lake Chamber of Commerce that features many fun family activities. Children can enjoy attractions such as inflatable slides from Magic Bounce and obstacle courses from Jam Hops. Other activities include the Kiddie Tractor Pull, a hot dog eating contest, and a child-safe archery booth that uses foam-tipped arrows. Route 65 will give out 500 free pulled pork sandwiches to event-goers while supplies last. People can also enjoy a live performance from the Christopher David Hanson Band.

Attendees can browse several businesses at the festival. This year's lineup of food vendors will include Mansetti's Food Truck, KCM Egg Rolls, and Taulelle Concessions. Many companies can be found at the park's business expo, such as Steve's Shedshop Wood Crafts, Ham Lake Physical Therapy, and Cardinal Cookie Cupboard. People may also interact with organizations like the Pack 3508 Cub Scouts and the Ham Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.

The festival will be held on Saturday, June 29th from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm. There is no admission fee for people to enter the fest, and many of the activities at the park are free to enjoy. The concert will start at 7:30 pm. Vendors who participate in similar celebrations can make custom Promotional Products to give to people at the events.
