Tax time is coming up again, and Plymouth residents who can use some help may want to take advantage of a program in the area.
The Community Economic Development Association of Michigan (CEDAM) will be kicking off another tax season with a day of learning that will make it easier for the public to keep more of their money in their pockets. It will connect them with companies and organizations that can provide financial advice and other assistance, and this will all be on offer at no cost.
The function, which will be held in Maplewood Community Center in Garden City, will include financial education workshops as well as a vendor cafe. Food services will be available, and there will also be several basket draws and other chances to win a prize. Any local financial service companies or other businesses that would like to get involved are asked to contact the organizers at 734-793-1849.
Organizing a day like this can really benefit a community. A printing services provider will be able to supply any company that plans on taking part with everything from eye-catching booth decor to Brochures, promotional Pens, and other swag.
Show Me the Money Day will be opening tax season 2021 on March 6. The venue for the function will be located at 31735 Maplewood Street in Garden City.
