The George C. Turner Golf Outing will be held this July in Plymouth to support the 33rd annual scholarship program.
The tournament is organized by the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) Michigan chapter. This annual event provides financial support for scholarships awarded to Michigan students pursuing studies in STEM fields and business careers related to the energy industry, particularly those from underrepresented groups. Since the Michigan Chapter's inception in 1995, more than $300,000 has been awarded in scholarships.
Apart from a regular golf outing, this event also provides participants with an opportunity to network with fellow AABE members and leaders from the utility and energy sectors.
For golf tournaments, banner printing at local Print shops is common. Banners are often used to recognize sponsors, provide event information, and create a more professional atmosphere throughout the course.
The event will take place on Friday, July 10, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Breakfast will be served from 8:00 a.m., and the shotgun start is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Tickets start at $161.90 and are available through Eventbrite. However, these tickets are non-refundable. Parking for the 8-hour-long event is free. Details about sponsorship opportunities and packages are also available on Eventbrite.
The outing will be held at Fox Hills Golf and Banquet Center, 8768 N Territorial Rd in Plymouth, MI.Get a Free Quote for Banners Get a Free Quote for Print
